February made checkout and floor work faster. One register button now opens a whole department and its sub-departments, and the handheld makes ordering, shrink, and promotions easier to keep straight.
When your produce or deli counter has a dozen sub-departments, cashiers lose time hunting for the right button. Now a single tap gets them there.
Add a parent department button, like Produce, to your register's Quick Actions.
Tapping it opens the sub-departments underneath, like Fruit and Vegetables, then the items in each.
Give each lane its own layout, so your deli lane shows different groupings than your grocery lanes.
Where to find it: Back Office › Point of Sale › POS Quick Actions · Set up nested department buttons →
Find new items in your vendor's catalog while you order. Ordering search now has two tabs, so you can switch between products you already carry and the full vendor catalog. Search the vendor catalog while ordering →
Find the right order at a glance. Each order in your orders list now shows its order number.
Fewer duplicate vendor items. The handheld stops you from creating a new vendor item with an item code that's already in use.
Record shrink on weighed items in fewer taps. The shrink amount now fills in automatically for random-weight items. Record shrink on the handheld →
Only current deals on screen. Expired promotions no longer show on the handheld, so staff don't quote a sale that has ended.
Device and sync status in one place. The home screen now shows both in a single Status card. Tap the sync card to pull in the latest updates from Back Office. Re-sync your handheld →
