With the discontinuation of the penny by the US Mint, stores have been struggling to provide exact change and keep lines moving. That ends today, with Vori’s fully automated cash rounding system. How it works

If the Cash Rounding Product is set on your store and the Cash Return amount requires pennies, the POS automatically adjusts the basket total by adding that product.

What your shoppers see

To maintain transparency, rounding appears as a clear line item on the printed receipt.

• Line Item: A product named "Cash Rounding" is added to the basket.

• Department: It is typically categorized under a department called "Cash Adjustments."

This ensures the shopper understands exactly why their total changed by a few cents
